On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of IIMAS, three special types of Funds have been created, of varying amounts and meeting different needs. We named them after the main figures of the Urkesh court, as they are known to us from their seals found in the Royal Palace of Tupkish. |

This Fund, in the amount of $8,000, covers the costs of a monograph publication, either as a digital or as a printed book. The first Prince's Fund is for the publication of the digital book on Urkesh ceramics in memory of Bill Orrange. |

The King's Fund, in the amount of $50,000 covers expenses tied to recurrent needs of special IIMAS research projectse. These funds are administered separately and draw interest according to investments devised by the IIMAS Financial Committee. The first King's Fund was established in memory of Mario and Maria Buccellati and John and Claire Kelly. It is dedicated to the preservation of our websites in response to future platform changes. | ![]() |
